K. M. Sheth, Executive Chairman
   Born in 1932, a student of the Sydenham College of Commerce, Bombay, he joined the    company in 1952; became the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director in 1975 and rose    to become the Chairman and Managing Director in 1992. He has been guiding the    company in its strategic and decision making policies and is currently the Executive    Chairman. He is also on the board of Indian Register of Shipping & Britannia Steamship    Insurance Association Limited, London.

   Previously, he held the post of President of the Indian National Shipowners Association    (INSA) and was the employers' group Chairman in the International Labour Organization    (ILO) plenary session in Geneva. He continues to be Chairman of the South Asia Advisory    Committee of Lloyds Register of Shipping and also Chairman of the South Asia Committee    of Det Norske Veritas. He is also a member of the Indian Committee of Nippon Kaiji    Kyokai, Japan and American Bureau of Shipping.

  Bharat K. Sheth, Dy. Chairman and Managing Director
   Born in 1958, Mr. Bharat Sheth joined the Company in 1981, just after obtaining his    Bachelor of Science (Economics) with honours from St Andrews University, Scotland. In    the initial years of his career he worked very closely with his colleagues and gained    expertise in chartering and Sale & Purchase activities, the most intricate part of the    shipping business. He was inducted onto the Company's Board as an Executive Director    on July 1, 1989 and became Managing Director of the Company on April 1, 1999. On    August 12, 2005, he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of the    Company.

   He is also the Chairman of Greatship (India) Ltd and a Director on Board of The Great    Eastern Shipping Company (London) Ltd, Sea Change Maritime LLC, North of England P&I    Association Ltd, Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association, Indian National Shipowners    Association & International Tankers Owners Pollution Federation Ltd

  Ravi K. Sheth, Executive Director
   Born in 1961, Mr. Ravi K. Sheth graduated with a Master of Business Administration from    Babson College, Wellesley, U.S.A. He joined The Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. in 1989.    He was appointed as a Whole Time Director on January 30, 2006 and is currently    designated as Executive Director of the Company.

   Mr. Ravi Sheth is currently the Managing Director of Greatship (India) Limited and also a    director on board of Financial Technologies (India) Ltd, A.H.Bhiwandiwalla Investments Pvt    Ltd, Greatship Global Holdings Ltd, Greatship Subsea Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd &    Greatship DOF Subsea Projects Pvt. Ltd.


  Keki M. Mistry
   Born in 1954, Fellow Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant from    Michigan, USA; he joined the Board in 2003. He is the Vice Chairman& MD of HDFC since    January 2010. Prior to joining HDFC in 1981, he worked with Indian Hotel Company Ltd &    Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Besides being on the board of several HDFC group companies, he    is also on the Board of Greatship (India) Ltd, IL&FS Ltd., Intelenet Global Services Pvt. Ltd,    Torrent Power Ltd, Bombay Stock Exchange & Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. He is    also the Non Executive Chairman of Gruh Finance Ltd.

  Berjis Desai
   Inducted on the Board in 2006, Berjis is an eminent professional law practitioner and is    currently Managing Partner of J.Sagar Associates. He has extensive experience both as    an Arbitrator and Counsel, in International, Commercial and Domestic Arbitrations and has    been associated with landmark legal pronouncements and interpretation. He is also on the    Board of Greatship (India) Ltd.

 Asha V. Sheth
   Ms. Asha Sheth joined the board of the company in June 1992. Chairperson of the Vasant    J Sheth Memorial Foundation which is dedicated to the cause of conservation of maritime    heritage, she has also been associated with The UNESCO, The Asiatic Society, The    Prince of Wales Museum, Bombay and numerous other social institutions.

  Cyrus J. Guzder
   Born in 1945, Master in Economics and Oriental Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge,    he joined the Board in 2003. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of AFL Group. Mr.    Guzder is a Director on the Board of several companies including BP (India) Ltd, Mahindra    Holidays & Resorts Ltd and Carlson Wagonlit Travel India Pvt Ltd. He is the Honorary    Consul General of the Republic of Ireland for Mumbai and Western India. He is also a    Member of the Board of Governors of The Reserve Bank of India’s Board of Banking Codes    and Standards of India (BCSBI). He has been closely working with various NGOs and    trusts involved in conservation of environment and restoration of art, culture and Indian    heritage.

  Vineet Nayyar
   He joined the board in 2004. A member of Indian Administrative Service, he held number of    assignments with the Indian Government. During his tenure at the World Bank, he took up    several projects related to energy, finance and infrastructure. He is currently the Vice    Chairman & Managing Director of Tech Mahindra and the Chairman of Mahindra Satyam.    Besides being on the board of several companies like Mahindra Logisoft Business    Solutions Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd, The Mahindra United World    College of India, The Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd & the Tech Mahindra    Foundation, he is also on the Board of Greatship (India) Ltd & Business Standard.

   In his previous assignments, he served as the Managing Director of HCL Corporation and    as the Vice Chairman of HCL Technologies. He was also the founder & CEO of HCL Perot    Systems & the founding Chairman & Managing Director of Gas Authority of India.
